Princess Anna's Coronation Dress
I came across this Princess Anna coronation evening gown on Reddit, and I had to take a second glance. What is this costume doing on the crochet subreddit? I had to zoom in to take a closer look.
I can't believe that it's 100% crocheted. This took Transatlantic Crochet approximately 18 months to complete, and it's absolutely a masterpiece from the original Frozen movie!
She admits that it is quite heavy (around 5kg) and that she needed extra support around the waist so that it doesn't drag down the top.

I absolutely love my little black cat, Jiji. Crocheting with faux fur yarn can be a bit intimidating, but it was so worth it!
I wrote a blog post with some tips on using faux fur yarn for amigurumi, here.
I ended up making a total of 3 black cats with the faux fur yarn that I got and each one turned out slightly different. I guess that's the beauty of handmade.
