As the leaves turn and the air grows cooler, fall is the perfect time to embrace cozy crafts celebrating the season. As much as I love curling up with my crochet hooks and a cozy ball of yarn, sometimes it's refreshing to try something new!

If you're an experienced crocheter like me, you already know the joy of working with your hands. But when it comes to learning a new craft, it can feel a little intimidating, especially if you're used to sticking to yarn and hooks!

That's why I’ve rounded up a few fall-inspired craft kits that are perfect for autumn enthusiasts. These craft kits will take you outside your crochet comfort zone, while still capturing that handmade magic we all love.

Whether you're looking to create Halloween decorations, autumn home décor, or just try a new craft, these kits are perfect for adding a touch of autumn to your crafting space. From embroidery to needle-felting and beyond, there's something here for every maker.

There's only one more month until Christmas! The kids couldn't wait to get the house decorated and have been begging us to get the Christmas tree out. So my home has been ready to receive Christmas since the day after Remembrance Day.

So we got our Christmas Tree out now that we actually have a place for it, and of course, our Crochet Christmas Tree that I made a few years ago. I love how this flat Christmas Tree with flat Christmas bauble ornaments has continued to be a part of our family Christmas tradition.

As I am typing up this blog post, my kids are drafting up their letters to Santa thanking him for their present last year and asking for something new this year.

Christmas Advent Calendars are a great way to continue building up the excitement until Christmas morning and make wonderful gifts for kids, especially when they're reusable year after year!

While shopping on Etsy, I've found some beautiful Advent Calendars that I thought I'd share with you all!

I returned home from Disneyland about a month ago, and I have been going through a Disney withdrawal since. I've been watching walkthroughs of the park and listening to music that they normally play on Main Street, USA.

It's incredible what kind of effect Disney Parks have on me.

Disney people are my kind of people. There's something about that place where once you walk through the gates, it's suddenly OK to let your inner child free. In other words, I'm not ashamed to be a Disney adult.

Once you step into the park, it's not silly anymore to wear mouse ears, sit in a pirate ship and fly above London with Peter Pan, or get excited to meet Mickey Mouse even though you know it's an actual person inside that costume. It even felt natural to wear a Minnie Mouse polka-dot dress out in public!
