I've already made a set of chibi Huntrix amigurumi dolls, but I couldn't resist making a second version of my chibi Huntrix amigurumi dolls in their outfit from the final performance in KPop Demon Hunters. Their white outfit with gold accents is such an iconic part of the movie. I wanted to capture every little detail in amigurumi form.

Why I Made This

My oldest daughter absolutely loves the song "What It Sounds Like," and she's been asking me for the Huntrix crochet dolls in their white outfits for what feels like forever.

When we got invited to my friend's daughter's birthday party, and knowing that she also loves KPop Demon Hunters, I ended up gifting her the first set of Huntrix amigurumi dolls I made. Which meant... my daughter had to wait even longer for her own set. Mom guilt activated!

These dolls also took a bit of trial and error to get right. In my very first attempt, I tried giving them crop tops and showing a little leg, just like in the movie. But instead of fierce KPop idols, they looked like baby dolls wearing diapers! So embarrassing. Definitely not something I could gift. So I took them all apart and started all over again.

In this second version, the crop tops are a bit more modest, and the "diaper look" is officially gone. This pattern is slightly more advanced because it uses the half-color change crochet technique. However, once you learn it, it's such a useful skill that can be applied to many future crochet projects.
