Every now and then, I dabble in crafts that are not crochet, and I have fun doing it! If you love Disney and Taylor Swift, you'll want to check out this DIY project!
Earlier this year, our family took a Disney Cruise vacation! Disney Cruise vacations are not cheap, so to help with costs, we chose to take one of their shorter 4-day repositioning cruises from Vancouver to San Diego on the Disney Wonder. It was a great way to get a taste of cruising with Disney without breaking the bank!
Every Disney vacation deserves something special, made like all my other Disney vacations. I usually craft a lot as preparation and help build up excitement!

For some of us, Halloween is something we prepare for during the whole month of October (and maybe even at the end of September).
You may have been getting ready for the holiday for weeks, with pumpkins carved, candy stocked, and the finishing touches on your handmade crochet costume all ready to go.
Whether you’ve been planning all month or are just trying to put together some last-minute activities for the kids, you can add some extra fun to this Hallo-weekend with these five Halloween-themed printables.
Each printable is the perfect balance of sweet and spooky, and kids of all ages will enjoy them!
1. Set Up a Game of “You’ve Been BOOed”
If you’ve decided to stay socially distanced for Halloween this year, it doesn’t mean the kids have to miss out on any of the fun! Start a game of “you’ve been BOOed” by tagging a neighbor with a bag of candy on their doorstep and these cute door printables.
You and the kids can drop the goodies off, ring the doorbell, and then watch your neighbors receive your surprise from a safe distance. It will be up to them to continue the game by tagging another neighbor, and everyone gets to join in on the socially-distanced fun!

Over the summer, we brought the kids to our public library and signed up for the BC Summer Reading Club. It was a great motivator for the kids to continue to read or do our "activity book" (aka. homework) every day over the summer.
BB was very driven to color in her circle each time she read a book or worked in her activity book, so that she could earn her sticker each time she completed 7 circles. I was a bit easy on her on some days, but I also wanted her to succeed.
I had some doubts, but by the end of the summer, BB actually finished her Summer Reading Club booklet and managed to earn a medal from the library for all her hard work! She was so proud. She wanted to do more of it!

Not sure if you've ever been curious and just searched "clever business cards" or "business card designs" just for the heck of it, but there are some really neat ones out there!
When I was designing my business card, I knew that besides having information to visit my blog, I wanted it to be functional as well! I searched all over the internet for inspiration and decided to go with something crafty to suit my audience's needs!
Did you know that this clever business card design can turn into a mini pompom maker?
