This Wonderstruck Princess amigurumi doll was inspired by Taylor Swift's iconic look during the Speak Now era of the Eras Tour concert movie, when she stepped onto the stage wearing a dramatic, purple ombre gown that felt straight out of a fairytale.

This Wonderstruck Princess amigurumi doll is inspired by that unforgettable moment when Taylor stepped onto the stage in a voluminous, three-tiered "cupcake" dress while performing Enchanted and Long Live. With its flowing layers, soft purple tones, and extra poofy silhouette, this crochet doll captures the elegance, drama, and storybook magic of that performance.
Designed to feel timeless and whimsical, this amigurumi works beautifully as a classic princess doll while still clearly nodding to its pop-inspired roots. The layered skirt and cascading ruffles give the dress movement and presence, making it just as fun to display as it is to crochet.

- Crochet in continuous spiral rounds. Do not join at the end of each round unless otherwise stated.
- Use a running stitch marker to keep your place when crocheting in rounds.

When I crocheted my first Enchanted Princess Taylor Swift amigurumi doll, I was thrilled with how adorable she turned out. But as I admired her, I realized her dress needed more volume to match the dramatic, princess-worthy look of Taylor's Speak Now era gown.
For this second version, I gave her a makeover by adding more stitches and extra ruffles to the skirt. The fuller silhouette enhances the purple ombre tiers, creating a soft, cascading effect that feels magical and true to the iconic performance. Despite the added layers, the doll still stands on her own, making her perfect for display.

Most of the amigurumi pattern stayed the same, so anyone who has tried the original version will find this one easy to adapt. The main difference is the skirt, where I increased the stitch count to create ruffles that give it a more dramatic, princess-like flare that I know my daughter, and many other Swifties, will adore.

The process of tweaking the design was a lot of fun and reminded me why I love crocheting so much. There's always room for creativity, experimentation, and making something even better than before. This Wonderstruck Princess doll feels like a celebration of Taylor's fairytale-inspired Speak Now era, with every stitch capturing the magic and elegance of that unforgettable performance.
