This sweater is worked from the top down in joined and turned rounds, with increases throughout the yoke. Once the body is completed, you will split for the sleeves and body. The body is worked straight, and then the sleeves are crocheted. You will always work single crochets into double crochets of the previous round, and vice versa, except when working increases.

Measure your gauge (avoiding measuring edge sts) and adjust your hook size accordingly.
Stitch Counts
Turning chains do not count as stitches. Stitch count is notated for the first row/round and on any rows/rounds where it changes.
Color Changes
Begin your yoke setup section with color A, then alternate colors each round as A, B, C, A, B, C, and so on. Continue alternating colors throughout the yoke, body, and sleeves. To change colors, complete the last YO and pull through of a round with the new color. You do not need to cut your yarn each round; simply carry it up loosely on the WS of your sweater.
Notes
Before separating for sleeves, try on your top and make sure you can pinch the yoke at both sides comfortably under your arm. If you need to add more length to the yoke, you may work additional texture rounds evenly (no increases).

Taking care not to twist your work, slst blo last row to the first row, joining them to form the neck ribbing. Turn so that the slst seam is on the inside.
