My Review of the Flower Gnomigurumi Book
Flower Gnomigurumi by Soledad Adriana del Pilar Iglesias Silva is a sweet collection og twelve gnome patterns, each inspired by a month's birth flower. The book is packed with step-by-step photos that walk you through every stage, making it very beginner-friendly. I was especially impressed by the amount of visual guidance; it really helps clarify how each piece should look as you go.

I haven't made the Holly Gnome myself, but I'm sharing the pull pattern here on the blog (with permission) so you can preview the author's writing style. Although it's written differently from how I usually structure my patterns, it remains clear and easy to follow. The book also includes a visual stitch guide, which is super handy for beginners.

While the patterns themselves aren't technically difficult, they do involve many small steps and a fair amount of sewing. This isn't a "whip it up in an hour" kind of project. It's more for those who enjoy the process and have the patience to bring all the pieces together. I'd recommend this book to crocheters who are already comfortable wtih amigurumi basics and are ready to take on slightly more involved projects that offer a beautiful finished result.
TL;DR
- Flower Gnomigurumi features 12 adorable gnome patterns, each themed after a birth flower of the month
- The book includes tons of step-by-step photos and stitch tutorials, which are great for visual learners and beginners
- Projects involve multiple parts and some sewing, so they are best suited for crocheters with some amigurumi experience and patience
- All images and instructions are taken directly from the book, providing a true preview of what to expect inside.
