Yarn for a Good Cause

Thursday, December 03, 2015

The most wonderful time of the year is here!

Do you try to give back to your community during this magical season? Many people start taking up volunteering during this time of the year at like soup kitchens, etc. And if you don't have time to volunteer, I have a friend that regularly donates blood to give back to her community.

If you love crocheting/knitting, do you ever craft for a good cause? Well, guess what? Yarn Canada wants to know your story and help you out with some yarn for your good cause!

They've partnered up with Bernat Yarn and Patons Yarn to give 12 individuals and groups a total of $2000 worth of yarn to use towards your good works.

This is open to Canadians and Americans and here's what they will be giving away:
  • 1 x $500 of yarn to a Canadian group who knits or crochets for a good cause
  • 1 x $500 of yarn to an American group who knits or crochets for a good cause
  • 10 x $100 of yarn to Canadian or American individuals or groups who knit or crochet for a good cause

Deadline to apply is December 31st, 2019.
